NAMD is proceeding with the in-person conference on November 9-11 in Washington DC, however, the impact of COVID-19 presents us with challenges around gathering in the same manner we have done for the past ten years. Therefore, we are also developing a robust virtual conference platform that will deliver the same great content and networking opportunities available at the in-person conference and allow us to provide a safe conference experience for in-person attendees and an exceptional virtual conference for attendees who may not be able to travel.

 

To help you determine which category to select when registering please use the following guide.

NAMD Alumni – this rate is reserved for alumni/previous Medicaid Directors who are paying annual dues to NAMD.
State and Federal Government – this rate is reserved for those who are employed directly by the government or a non-profit organization, including all current Medicaid Directors.
Non-Profit – this rate is reserved for those who are employed by a non-profit organization.
Corporate Sponsor – this rate is for all persons who are employed by a private company/organization who is a sponsor at the conference.
Corporate Non-Exhibitor/Non-Sponsor – this rate is for those who are employed by a private company/organization who are not a sponsor at the conference.

Registration for the in-person conference is now open for the following groups:

  • State Government
  • Federal Government
  • Non-profit – registrations limited; available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • NAMD Alumni – registrations limited; available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Corporate Sponsors – registrations limited; you will need a registration code. Details have been shared with your corporate sponsor point of contact.

Regular Conference Rate: October 2, 2020 - November 6, 2020

What do I get with my In-person Registration?

Be a part of our 10th Annual conference in person celebrate this pivotal milestone as we come together to share challenges and successes about what has truly been a remarkable year!

Your conference registration gives you full access to the following:

  • Exhibit Hall Opening Reception on Monday, November 9.​
  • Conference sessions all day Tuesday, November 10, through Wednesday, November 11.​
  • Breakfast and Lunch on Tuesday, November 10, through Wednesday, November 11.​
  • All conference-related activities.​

Your conference badge must be worn at all times for admittance to conference events and activities including the exhibit hall.

Safety

NAMD is following guidance from the CDC and Washington DC health officials on recommendations and requirements for large gatherings. We will provide participants in Washington DC with an in-person experience guided by protocols to ensure the health and safety of all attendees. In addition, we are limiting the number of attendees at the in-person conference to allow for proper social distancing throughout the event space.

Additional details will be shared closer to the conference date.  All attendees will be required to adhere to the safety protocols put in place for the in-person conference.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests must be received in writing by 5:00 PM ET October 2, 2020. Cancellations made on or before the deadline will be refunded, minus a $100 administrative processing fee. All cancellations and requests for refunds must be in writing via email and requests for refunds must be in writing via email to conference@medicaiddirectors.org or via fax at (504) 327-5299. In the event that the In-person event is cancelled due to Covid-19 all attendees will be automatically registered for the virtual conference or have the option to move their registration to the postponed conference dates if applicable.

What do I get with my registration?

We are sparing no effort to make our virtual attendees feel an integral part of the NAMD Fall conference they have come to know and love. All virtual Conference attendees will have full access to the following:

  • Live virtual attendance to conference sessions all day Tuesday, November 10, through Wednesday, November 11.
  • The ability to interact with speakers as if you were in the room.
  • Recording of each session available on demand for 3 months after the end of the conference.
  • Interactive networking sessions with both virtual and in-person attendees.
  • Access to the virtual exhibit hall to stay on top of the latest developments in the Medicaid Marketplace.
  • and much much more…we are moving faster than technology to make this virtual event the most fun you’ve had learning about Medicaid all year!
