NAMD 2024 Fall Conference
November 11-13, 2024 | Washington, D.C.
Welcome to the NAMD 2024 Fall Conference, the premier event that brings together Medicaid leaders, innovators, and stakeholders from across the country for an unparalleled opportunity to collaborate and advance our shared mission:
To help millions of people served by Medicaid by representing, elevating, and supporting state and territorial Medicaid and CHIP leaders in connecting eligible people to coverage, promoting access to care, providing high-value services, and controlling program costs for sustainability.
1 in 5: The People, Policy & Practice of Medicaid
Medicaid is the largest source of health care services in the nation. It provides comprehensive health care coverage, services, and supports for 1 in 5 Americans. With unparalleled scale and opportunity, Medicaid is a driver for partnership to enable access, address disparities, and advance wellbeing and economic security for over 82 million Americans.
At this year’s conference, we will explore the people, policy, and practice of Medicaid. Select from conference breakout sessions organized by high-priority tracks:
1. A health disparities track includes a special profile of the U.S. territories and focus on access and outcomes in maternal and preventative health.
2. An access to care track features discussions about streamlining eligibility and connections between Medicaid and public health, as well as diving into leading edge topics including cell and gene therapy coverage.
3. Better understand the people Medicaid serves in the 1 in 5 track, which will take stock of where we are after unwinding and highlight the many partnerships that make Medicaid flourish, notably including work with the corrections system to support people leaving justice settings.
Register today, and look forward to exploring these themes and more at the Fall 2024 NAMD Conference!
